Øystein Juul Nielsen

PhD., Director | Markets and Investments  – Øystein joined IWC in December 2012 and today provides analysis and research supporting IWC’s Timberland Investment Advisory team’s due diligence processes and ongoing monitoring.

Previously, Øystein held a Post-doctoral research position at the University of Copenhagen where he worked with research projects in Asia, Africa and South America. He has a PhD in Forestry and is experienced in applied economics and econometrics, statistical analysis, survey implementation and data management.
