Asger Strange-Olesen
Director | ESG | Climate & Biodiversity– Asger is a seasoned forest sustainability veteran, with ample experience from regulatory, international, and multistakeholder settings. With a background in Masters in Geography and a graduate degree business administration, Asger has developed and executed forest ecosystems targeted sustainability and investment strategies and plans both as lawmaker for the European Commission, for institutional investors, the forest sector, Forest Stewardship Council, and as a carbon market developer. He combines data and MRV insights with in-depth regulatory expertise to lead our global climate, biodiversity, and ecosystem services development work, as well as ESG. Asger serves in several advisory boards, as a UNFCCC Reviewer, and is Member of the EU Carbon Removal Expert group, that advises EU lawmakers on governing and standardizing incentives for carbon as part of integrated nature-based solutions.
