The International Woodland Company ApS (“IWC”) provides investment management and natural resources advisory services regarding its clients’ timberland and agriculture investment strategies and the implementation thereof. IWC is a Danish public limited liability company established in 1991.

Investment coverage

Today, the company is still headquartered in Denmark, but has opened investment offices in both the USA and Australia. As of the end of 2018, IWC oversees natural resources valued at USD 4.9 billion. Historically, our clients have committed USD 5.8 billion to the timberland asset class and invested into over 200 timberland assets worldwide representing over 8 million hectares, as well as approximately 50,000 hectares of agricultural land (acquired and managed).

Our nearly 3 decades of experience has provided us with an opportunity to contribute to the institutionalization of the timberland asset class, develop relationships with clients seeking to implement and develop private timberland programs as well as with investment managers and forestry industry professionals globally. As a result, we are proud to say that we have the most extensive timberland investment database in the world. In addition, we do our own in-house research and analysis.
