Andreas Baattrup Reitzel

ESG Investment Manager – Andreas joined IWC in November 2019. He is part of the Agriculture Investment team and contributes to the management and development of IWC’s direct AG investments. As the team’s ESG responsible Andreas is continuously looking for new ways to improve the sustainability case of AG investing.

Andreas holds an MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark and Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. He has a background as a military linguist and officer of the reserve. While studying, Andreas has worked as student employee at both the Danish Ministry of Foreign affairs and at the Department of Food and Resource Economics (University of Copenhagen). From these positions he is experienced in facilitating sustainability programs and in analyzing the economic potential of new ag technologies in improving the sustainability of modern farming.
